Alfie and George Cupboards is proudly named after two family members who served in World War II and we take much inspiration from their generational values.
We provide a no-nonsense approach to ensure we create quality products and outstanding customer service.
Our independent business is based in Norwich, England, and specialises in handcrafting bespoke kitchen cupboards.
For the past 25 years, we have been crafting bespoke kitchens locally. In 2017, we launched Alfie and George Cupboards to bring our passion for quality and design nationwide.
We take pride in our shaker-style cupboards, which are designed with durability and functionality in mind. Every cabinet is meticulously handcrafted using traditional techniques, dovetail and mortise & tenon joints are utilised to ensure the solid wood carcasses and drawer boxes are held together securely. The internals of our cupboards are made from solid Redwood and the frames from Tulipwood. The only MDF we use is in the centre door panels, this it to prevent movement and paint cracking. With these time-honoured methods and premium materials our cupboards are built to last a lifetime.

At our company, we understand that the world of Bespoke kitchens can be quite expensive. That's why we strive to provide you with the highest quality cupboards while also accommodating your budget. We offer fully assembled cupboards that are water-sealed and ready for undercoating. By taking on some of the tasks yourself, you can achieve your dream kitchen at a fraction of the cost. Many of our customers choose to paint their own kitchen, while others opt for the help of a tradesman. As for worktops, appliances, sinks, and taps, we recommend finding these items online as they are far more affordable than purchasing them as part of a full kitchen package.
Free Designs
If you're struggling with designing your kitchen, don't worry. Our expert CAD team is here to assist you. Simply provide us with a rough aerial sketch of your room and a general idea of where you'd like your cupboards placed. Alternatively, you can email us an annotated architectural drawing or a copy of a competitor's design and we will do the rest. Best of all, our design service is completely free of charge!
